Thank you for visiting my web site.

For many people, undertaking a building project can be a daunting experience. By making the process transparent and inclusive, I aim to forge a trusting relationship with you, make your experience enjoyable, and produce a project that meets, and hopefully, exceeds your expectations.

Producing a successful project involves establishing and understanding your requirements and aspirations, preparing and refining design proposals that are practical and inspiring, balancing the ever increasing and often conflicting requirements of legislation, incorporating appropriate sustainable construction materials & renewable energy sources, and having the works carried out by skilled & reliable contractors.

I am a Chartered Architect (RIBA) and member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC), with 25 years experience working throughout Cumbria on a wide range of Housing, Leisure and Commercial projects, new & existing, private & corporate, and particularly working with Vernacular and Listed Buildings. See side menu, or below, for some recent projects.

I am pleased to offer a no obligations first meeting to review your requirements, offer my initial thoughts on design, and advise on the requirements & procedures for your project. See side menu for my services and contact details.
